Illumination
Nondual reality, the awakening of the Self and devotion
THE PHILOSOPHY BENEATH THE CODEX
One recognition
Before any code, any sigil or any practice, there is one recognition. Everything else on this site rests on it.
Your thoughts and your feelings come and go, and your body changes with time. But there is always a part of your Being that never changes and remains the same: the silent observer that is always there.
Separation is only a feeling, not a reality. The one who notices that feeling is the one who is revealed.
Here I gather what I have written in my books about the awakening of the Self, nondual reality and devotion: 32 essays to read slowly, to observe yourself, and to come back home.
FROM AWAKENING TO THE CODEX
The philosophy and the practice
The Flame Codex is the practical teaching; this philosophy is what holds it up.
The Light Codes are not symbols chosen at random. They are expressions of this divine Consciousness, and they are there to help us attune our psyche and our expression to our true nature, bringing clarity and the descent of divine, truer aspects of ourselves into the experience of the human psyche.

THE TREE
Seven branches, one path home
Read them in order, or begin wherever your heart asks. Each essay ends with a short practice taken from my books.

BRANCH I
The call
When life begins to ask
It all begins with a restlessness: a happiness we cannot find outside, a pain that asks to be looked at, a question that will not let us go. The wish to awaken comes from our true Being.

BRANCH II
What you are not
Body, mind and emotions
Your thoughts and your feelings come and go, and none of them can contain your essence. Your body and your thoughts are energy moving in Consciousness. When you see clearly what you are not, you see who the witness is.

BRANCH III
The one who observes
The witness and the I Am
There is a silent observer that is always there, a consciousness that never changes and that nothing can alter. That relationship with consciousness is the great door to the I Am, which can never be closed.

BRANCH IV
The prisons of the mind
How the person is formed
Domestication, added to cellular memory and karma, forms what we call the person. But none of it reaches the soul, or the Being, much less consciousness.

BRANCH V
The present
The practice of being here
To be present, above all, is to be in the truth. There is nothing spiritual in the mind.

BRANCH VI
The heart
Devotion, love and monodualism
Although you are one with everything, God is God and is always there. We are part of the Divinity and we hold a relationship with it: this is what I have called monodualism. Move from religion to relationship.

BRANCH VII
Awakening and the life after
When the Being awakens in a human life
Once you awaken, that is when your spiritual life begins. And awakening is not reserved for yogis or monks: it is possible for every person who sincerely wishes to walk the path of the soul.

Looking together
These essays can be read alone, slowly, in a quiet corner. And if you feel the call to look together, I offer a space where we can meet with honesty, ask questions, share silence and look together.
